Pretty Lil Baja! I like it plain white like that.
Mine:
Mine is actually not white, but a very pale gray. most people think it's white tho.
It's real popular lately to clutter things up and make them very "busy". It's nice to see clean and simple sometimes.
Oh...in your signature, you say "In wine there is wisdom , in beer there is freedom , in water there is bacteria !" As a water system consultant for many years, I learned the truth that
" Whiskey is for drinkin'. Water is for fightin' over!!"
And don't forget what turns grape juice into wine and water and grain into beer. It's stuff growing in it.

We are in a serious drought in Texas lost five trees on my place , Brazos river has all but dried up-yup we are fighting over water!
Now the white Baja - I respect the solid white baja's but it needs something...I kinda want to panel lace it up and have a buddy pinstripe the hell out of it? Or maybe a throw back 80's crooked stripe up the sides and across the top? _________________ In wine there is wisdom , in beer there is freedom , in water there is bacteria ! |

Take it offroad. Brush on the sides of the trail will pinstripe it.

I've been working for about 6 months with my cousin to upgrade the front end.
Just got it on all 4, had to show it off!

New front tires, rack and led light bars made all the difference on my Baja. Still need to throw in the 1835 tho

I've got a 1641,running with a 34 pic 3 carb. Daily driver, not much off roading..
I bought it for 800 in 2004 and have spent around 3,000. fixing her up. Need to do some interior work and paint. I took it too the drag strip a couple weeks ago and had a blast |

Here is my latest beetle, a 1972 standard that has been sitting for some time after it's owner passed. I got it from the estate in the shape you see with no engine. Hope to work on it over the winter, along with a Nash engine rebuild, and have it on the road sometime next year. It needs a lot of mechanical work, a good scrubbing, and some TLC. FYI, looking for a 1500 or 1600 used motor for it as well.

Dude! A different looking Schwimmwagen!
I like how you've pieced together a couple of rear bumpers to make that one. A friend of mine has one kinda similar. _________________ Richard
