Had a fantastic time. Sorry about leading you guys up that really rough stuff. I'm glad there were no breakdowns on that killer portion. I'm posting photos right now.

great run like always, thanks to mark for leading. Mark I thought that was a nice mix of terrain, I really liked all of it, some fast stuff and rocky tecnical as well. the dry bed was cool too, first time I got my buggy up to 90+.
had a great time and got to meet some real nice people and see some old friends. I'm ready for the next run.

Great pictures. It always looks like a fun time. My health has slowed down progress on my baja, but as I keep saying, one of these days I'll make it out there with you guys.

Man, I was too tired to post last night... Once showered, it was time to pass out. I too had a great time. The was a really fun loop, Mark! The rough stuff really opened some of the driver's eyes, for sure. A few more driver seats need repair from the pucker factor, but all said they loved it afterwards.

Sorry, Bizmarkie... I didn't want to leave you sitting on the ice chest like that, but I was bound and determined to join the 100 mph club! I was able to sqweek it, but only after pulling down the flag on my whip, and eliminating some ballast (I bet you never thought you would be called that, eh Bizmarkie?!!!) I finally hit it, but not one mph more... Ground speed is indicated in the top left of the GPS screen...

There were a lot of laughs on the run, a bunch of good times! It just amazes me that the club just keeps on having great runs, time after time. All of you guys (and gals) are a great bunch of people. Thanks for the memories...
Skid

Just got home. List of the carnage:
1. Farm jack loose and fell apart ( loose bolts?)
2. Air Horns bracket broken and hanging
3. Front bumper brackets broken
4. Left rear will not hold air.
5. The big one, ZERO brake pedal to the floor nothing
More to be discovered later VW the best car ever made
Still the best damm time I have had with my clothes on

HotBaja - I knew that question was going to come up... the dash is thicker than the stock steel dash, so the nut isn't long enough to hold the switch in. It is behind the dash still (out of reach... Embarassed ), but still functions. I need to make a longer nut at work to reach the switch.
