If anyone is interested in a cheap 71 super, let me know. It is an hour south of my house, but it is complete, and supposedly will run. I think you could get it for $200.

Does anyone have an engine stand I could borrow temporarily? I need to pull the motor out if the 68 to fix a few things and it would make it a hell of a lot easier...if not I guess I'm off to harbor freight to get in more trouble lol Laughing

Well hello everyone!! Happy Spring! Sorry for the delay this year...I've had some things going on in the last few weeks & time has just gotten away from me. So here are a few things. Hope to see you all soon!

There is a local show at Summit Point this Saturday May 17th! This is a very cool laid back show. Even has go cart racing. You also get to take your car out on the track for a few laps. Definitely worth going to. Sean & Cook both have to work that morning, so Cook & I will be meeting at noon & Sean will be joining when he gets home. Let us know if you would like to join!! Then next event is BugOut in Dinwiddie on Sunday May 25th. We are leaving the Saturday before around 11am. That way we have time to get down there, relax & get an early dinner. We plan to stay in Petersburg, but I will call for prices & availability this week. It's only about a 20 min ride to the Speedway Park. Please let me know if you would like cruise down with us. I think the plan is to avoid I-95, but the route is planned by the guys.

Lastly, I would like to plan our Spring/Summer cruise for June 21st. Cook will take us on a back road tour to Winchester to have lunch or ice cream at Sonic. Then we would cruise to the Drive In theater to watch 2 movies under the stars. I have read that the theater has upgraded the sound system & the snack bar, which offers a lot more food, so if we eat dinner there it will help support the theater. I will confirm the date & post meet up times as we get closer to the date.

Hotel has been booked for BugOut. We are going down Saturday mid-day & staying at the Best Western Plus Hopewell Inn, 3950 Courthouse Rd. $81 if booked through Orbitz. I will be glad when the new track opens next year so we don't have this drive & expense. Let me know if anyone would like to cruise down with us.
