I am sure the Propex is far superior.
But I found an Eberspacher BN2 in a bus at the wrecker. Assuming it functions, I don't see why this isn't a popular add-on as it is far cheaper than a Propex? I've been a lurker on this forum for years and haven't seen it mentioned much, that concerns me. I plan on using it for ski-trips and overnighters, not week-long adventures. Are they difficult to install? This would be going into my '90 GL btw.

Biggest drawback would be reliability and parts. Oh, and pollution. The older Eberspachers were not know for clean burning. One benefit though is it can be mounted externally. |
