The most oft quoted comparison is it will output equivalent to a 1600 single port. It will run smooth a strong especially in the mid-range.

If you want more power than in stock configuration from your Judson you are asking for trouble. The vanes run in contact with the chamber and so generate friction heat as well as compression heat.

Spin the unit faster to generate more power you also generate more heat which the small heat-sink vanes on the blower body can't handle.

There are things you can do to make the Judson run cooler and more reliably but they won't necessarily make it run more powerfully.

As long as your expectations aren't too high the Judson will give years of reliable service...and most importantly, if you have one in good condition.

No, not on a 1200 properly set-up. If you try to get more hp by fitting a larger crank pulley to spin the blower faster...that's when you will run into overheating problems.

I am going to use ported stock heads with 33mm intake and 30.5 exhaust valves (and performance cam from Mr.Okrasa) with Judson next summer! Exhaust will be stainless steel 4-tip muffler from Wolfsburg Specialties => I have all parts allready in my garage, just have to find some time to put these things together Confused
