There is alot of work. The people that bought the first two were very happy, They take alot of hours to build. Prices go up from there. Here is my cost on them, just so you have an idea.
$55.00 for the wagon
$10.00 square tubing
$20.00 sheet metal
$25.00 primer, paint, clear
$16.00 stainless bumpers
$15.00 tires
$6.00 hardware
$8.oo carpet
$8.00 water jet cut emblem
$5.00 pistol grip shift knob
total $168
That is what is in the sealingwax and chestnut one, One like it will be $350
I appreciate your input, I agree they are expensive and im just trying to see if its worth making some, I really enjoy it and it was pretty cool to see people walking arround pamona with my wagons. Every one was all over them, taking pictures, talking about them it was fun. Thanks guys _________________ 1957 Oval Rag |

I hope you do well selling them. little too steep for a wagon for me though. _________________ OGJHC

I'm starting to get little wafts of bus stink coming from the north. Something about the unique scent of drivers seat padding when it's glued together with mouse piss and shit that really gets me going... and I'm smelling it! Oh yeah! Time to start loading up the equipment. |

very cool!!!! no different from owning a real splitty.. pay to play.. looks like alot of labor goes into those. if i were you i would badge them to make them legit... or put a stamp or serial number so in 50 years at an antique shop or even here on the samba one of these pops up we can tell if its a repro or the real deal! looks great! |

I think they are very well made and look cool. I would love one but seeing as i live in Malta, the shipping for one of these sent to me would kill me.
Good luck selling them, im sure they will do well.
could you post a pic of one next to a "real" bus, just to have an idea of size.
Thanks,
Eric. _________________ Das Maltese Kruizers |
