This friend of mine has a batch of NOS . I have one already, it's an original work of art ! And even makes the panel appear a bit smoother than it already is Cool

Everett, i hear that they are different. I think it has to do with the hole sizes? Maybe?

That is possible, I welcome some measurements and/or detailed photos.

If the above ad is truly a Barndoor cargo lock cover, I cannot tell the difference from a Single Cab cover in the ad photos.

according to the parts book, the numbers are the same for truck and panel 211 829 375. I suppose that doesnt always mean they are exact though. only ones i have ever seen have one small and one large hole.

You can see the different covers with 2 same sized and 2 different sized holes in the last picture! http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=802534 As far as I know BD panels and SCs used the ones with different sized holes.
I don´t have an early (55-) treasurechest-lid for reference to compare, but if someone can measure the holes it would bring light in this uncertainty... Idea

Thanks Very Happy

Ok, I understand. Barndoor Panels used the smaller hole if they had no exterior handle.
