the smart car 175-55s fit nicely on a stock 4" smoothie
i was running firestone 125s for the longest time, the 175s are a tiny bit shorter and the contact is probably twice as much.

So basically, the place to get these is Tirerack.com?
I've talked to a ton of tire places in my area and all of them look at my like I made that size up in my head or something.
I'd really like to find some local to avoid shipping but it is what it is. If anyone has any news on this stuff clue me in. Thanks |

Wow these seem like small tires, how do they handle/ride? Currently I am running 195/50-15's on 5.5" wheels.

I'm pretty sure a 135R is 23.4" tall. A 155/60 is right at 22.3" tall so a full inch shorter.
For me I'm downgrading from 145's so the difference is a little more than an inch and a half.
good luck |

tire rack lists the tire diameters. Note that the recommended wheel width may be different for each tire and the diameter will be listed for that wheel width.
I have 155/60s mounted on 5.5" BRMs (see above) and some 165/45s mounted on 5.5" polished 5-spokes. I also have some 195/65s & 185/55s...maybe I will line them up soon and take some comparison pics against a stock 165. I don't have any 145/65s or 135r or 145r tires.
Here's a pic of a 165/45 on a 5.5" 5-spoke compared to a 125 TEMP on a 4.5" chromie.

I think 135`s look really nice on a 4.5 but on a bus? Hell nah I needed a little more rubber touching the road and am happy how they look on a 4.5 and I`m ultra picky! _________________ CRG
