That's actually June 62. 954XXX was the last vin in May. So it's a late 62, the fender change was earlier than I thought.

My old March 62 was flat fender/fat lip.


So, do you think its a 1962 or 1963 ?

It's 62 all the way, you were right, just late in the 62 production year.

That bus looks to have driven right out of a time tunnel.

What is the big ol' honkin' cut by the driver rear wheelwell: where someone started a sawzall then got body slammed?

thats no cut..when i got the bus the guy had smashed in the corner pushing it up into the woods...thats a crease where i pushed the corner back into shape with a porta power from the inside

a couple of months ago i remove some later grey paint to see if there was some original green paint underneath the grey spray.
and yes, awesome to see the og paint .
