Does it bolt up to a ball joint pan head or does it need to be changed? |

Is yours a stock thing beam? I like the height of yours. Mine sits stinkbug and I would like to bring the front up and wider but don't think I'm capable of replacing the pan head for a link pin. |

thing parts are a direct bolt up, you can get a whole beam or just the arms and spindles and load them onto your existing balljoint beam. _________________ never forget 1-31-07 |

Welcome to the Madness. Your car looks great. I am running with Thing Spindles and Arms on a Type 1 Beam.

is there an advantage to having the thing parts are the arms, or the beam or anything higher or longer?... is it worth doing? will it bring my front up any? or widen it? |

The beam is beefed up a little, but it's heavier. Thing spindles are different. The bottom ball joint is facing the correct way so it won't pull apart. The ball joint are bigger and have more travel. You get lift without stiffening up the ride. You can always cut and turn the beam for even more lift.
Stole these from somewhere...
T1 on top, thing on bottom:
T1 on the left, thing on right
T1 near, thing far
