What and where did you get the rivets for the table hinges. Would you mind sharing how you installed them as well

That's the original rivet, I was not able to source something close, so I made sure to keep them.

the trim alex was selling is the same as whats available on chinese market sites like alibaba.com

it takes a bit of searching but you can find the right size material. of course its not exactly like original. I imagine that would have to be custom made.

If this is a drawing of the subhatch roof wood then the drawing is incorrect. The red piece does exist, the front edge is straight across from corner to corner.

the drawing I made is based on the cut I did,
and the red line has the same width as the fresh air box.

here is a picture after the roof was installed:

To restore my roof, I did not have an original subhatch wood panel that I could use as master, so I probably made some mistakes, however both dimensions I came-up with made the resotred roof spot on.

You can see in these photos that the og piece is straight across on the front edge. I found that the grill on the fresh air vent had to be put on after the wood was in place to allow it so sit right.

beside that detail, dimensions I provided in my drawing should be right.
However, cab2276 I suggest you to make some trial before you cut the final plywood. I saw that the subhatch roof was grafted on your bus, so you need to be even more vigilant.

to keep the roof right in place and edges locked into the gutters you need to make sure to build those slices of plywood that will be nailed onto the hard wood structure. otherwise the panel will pop-up.

Has someone with an og ceiling panel comfirmed that the deminsions posted above are correct?

I have found that whole the so42 has the notch for the fresh air vent , the earlier Westys do not have the notch.
Also, the cab roof panels for the so-42 are slightly shorter. The earlier Westys use stock for Kombi length cab roof panels.
The seam between wood and grey for the so42 falls in the middle of the metal brace. While the seam for the earlier westy falls at the back edge of the metal brace and the screws go into the wood bow.
This means the middle large roof panel for an so42 is slightly longer than the so23 version.

X2 on what buseric said

I have used several slightly different patterns for the roof panels. There is some wiggle room there.

That Limba looks lovely and really pops!

Thanks providing clarification and differences between roof panels. As I said earlier, since back in the time I did not have any original master to start from, I used pictures information and measurements I was able to find and deduct, which in the end made my roof restoration work well.
