By the way...i did some digging on this filter for the cylinder head....i think its still available part number 1111 01453..available at vwheritage.com. its sparked my interest..now ill have to remove my manifold and check the condition of mine Sad

Hi,
this is the work of this week end:
I've cleaned up the gear box area, repainted the rust area in grey primer
the brake drum are cleaned too and ready to fit Smile

Hi,
little question I have about fuel tap,
curently I have this fuel tap on my 53 ( from april ), I know that it's wrong

Hi everybody,
the engine is closed to be finished, will post some pics next time
I have a question about fan axle : should it be straight or bent ?
I have 2 parts at home, one is straight the 2nd one is bent....
if somebody could help about that,
does there is difference with production year or simply the parts is used and bent....

I looked at some photos of ones I have sold and they all look straight at the point where your piece is bent.

These were used on 40hp and early 1500cc engines too, maybe one of those require a bend? I do not know.

long block is closed, everything rebuilt, NOS head cylinder, NOS camshaft....
now need to reassemblate the top Very Happy
