I'm down for a frost fest! Mike if you want to talk to Manny, please do that would be great! I know that's a welcomed event.

Two things:

Frostbite Run - who's in? Thanksgiving AM. Where and what time to meet? I plan on going for a little bit - family things that day...

End of the month - Chuck suggested a diner meet up Saturday. There's also an event at VW of Langhorne - car show and swap meet 10am to 2pm. Any takers on either? Any other suggestions?

I'll also post this on the FB page too.

I plan on swapping at Langhorne VW...as long as there's no road salt on the roads.

If you guys are doing anything Thanksgiving morning...I might be down for a cruise depending on where you guys are meeting up and what the weather is doing...

With family in from out of town over the holiday, the Frostbite is out and Saturday is definitely out for much of the day. A diner meet either early morning or late afternoon is a possibility.

The Delco Cruisers Presents the 7th annual Holiday Cruise for Kids. Nice event to give back to the community and put some smiles on some kids faces. Please come and join us and cruise to Riddle and Crozer hospital with Santa and Mrs. Santa and all the helpers. The cruise will be Police Escorted. Bikes and Cars all welcome. Please bring a new unwrap toy or two for the Toys for Tots. No stuffed animals please.

Meet: Saturday-December 7, 2013-9 am to 11 am Rose Tree Park- RT. 252- Media, PA 19063- Please feel free to bring your camera for pictures.

Leave at 11 am to cruise to Riddle Hospital- greet everyone inside the hospital then continue on to Crozer Hospital- delivering toys to all good boys and girls.

Cruise starts promptly at 11 am to the first destination- Riddle Hospital

This is a RAIN or SHINE/SNOW event.

Cruise to Riddle Ale House afterwards for after party.

Thank you for Posting the flier.

This is a nice event to help children in the area and put some smiles on a few of them in the hospitals this season. The cruise will have a full police escort to each locations. A fire Truck will be at the meeting spot and escort us with a large caravan of cars to the hospitals.

Hope you can all come out and join us in a nice event for family and friends to enjoy. Don't forget your camera for pictures with Santa and all his helpers.

Hope to see some VW's there ...etc. Mine wont be since I will be playing a role for the kids and driving with Santa in his Red 57 Chevy Wink

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out for this and make it another very successful year. Collected loads of toys for the hospitals and Toys for Tots.

I noticed another post on last year's Frost Fest thread asking about the date and such for this year's Frost Fest...

Has anyone confirmed anything for this must-go-to winter meet with Manny ?
Looking out the window at what's left of Sunday's snow...and I already wanna go to the first swap meet of next season ! Very Happy

I just picked up a 65 bug I'm going to rat. Any one have any parts mainly lower beam and wheels. I have bus parts I can trade. Any help would be appreciated

Sad to announce that Frost Fest won't be happening this year. I'm a little too far to get it going and i spoke with Manny and he's not up for it this year. I hope u guys can lift his VW spirit to keep it going during the winter season. I know i used to get weary being in a house all winter without driving or tinkering on the bug. I have my bug here in St Croix just having a ball every chance i get. I'm getting ready to buy a Westy to start a camping thingy down here, too many beaches and scenery to camp! I wish i can build a bridge for u guys to caravan down....
Gotta keep the VWs alive!!!!!!

OCOD PA Month-End GTG will be at the "Old Country Buffet" on old Rt 30 (Lancaster Ave) in Downingtown, PA on Saturday, December 28th at 1:00 pm. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come and share their crazy holiday stories as well as V-Dub stories. Harbor Freight Tools is in the same shopping center as the buffet! hey seansofthedead I have a 65 bug myself if I can ever motivate myself to get moving you can have my stock beam w/the trailing arms and stock spindles I have a 6 inch narrow beam and drop spindles going on I'm in Newark DE so I'm not too far away Matty

Good times were had at The Old Country Buffet on Saturday. It was a good thing that Chuck and Ed weren't eating because Jimmy just about cleared off the buffet all by himself. Many thanks to Rick for the awesome "Mr. Bubblehead". Next month... can you say Arnolds?
