As a side note this car was chopped 4 1/2'' .You can see the door
needed a different section added in the middle, because the more the
chop, the more the two sections dont fit together, and the door gets narrow at the back. That piece averaged the size of the door top.

Also the back window section isnt wide enoughf with that much chop,
so a cut had to be made on each side of the rear window so it could
be spread wider and fillers had to be made later.

Heres the car done. You can see how wide the area from the oval and the
first roof line is from making it wider.

very nice Cool my question is where did you start your measurements for the chop? I'm doing one also but this is the part that is throwing me for a loop. i have been stuck on where to put my cut marks for the past 3 weeks.

you can see i started with the front and left the rear of the roof to keep a perspective. I didnt try to measure where i put the tape, i just eye balled it. In the end it doesnt make that much difference if each side is cut in the same spot within say 1/2'', just that its the same amount cut out. Your eye is the best measuring device, it could measure out the same but look off. The eye don't lie...

Awesome tutorial. And I agree with what was said earlier, it is WAY more involved than I ever thought. I'd just have to buy one done already....
