I guess the porsche pattern is rarer, but because they will look kinda similar to the muscle car bolt patterns, people would find it difficult to tell the difference, therefore I would go wide 5. Wide 5 slot mags are awesome IMHO!

I love the rarity of the porsche pattern wheels. They must have looked
like crap on a 911 but on vw's they can look good. Can you imagine
taking off your fuchs and putting on a slot mags back in the day?
I have 5-130 Wolferace slot mags and I hold onto them because
I just dont see them for sale??? Our British friends may dissagree?

Not sure which is rarer. but I'd also be more apt to rock the wide 5's.... that's if I didn't have a set of crestlines to put on the car Wink

All my wheels are 5 1/2, NOS with NOS caps and lugs. Your are still rare but don't like the 7s. But your asking price is fair as these are rare. I wouldn't sell mines in box for no less than $4000 American $.

Sorry for bringing this subject to life. I was looking not to start a new one, just to ask same questions about my wheels. I have a set of 5.5 Ansens that I put for sale but I think I am advertising the wheels incorrectly. I have been looking through the pictures and different adds, I can find the same set with the serial number stamps in the back and being called Ansens, also many running the same set with the air filler tube (don't know the name) in the face of the rim and calling them Ansens.
In all fairness I bought them as Ansens 5.5 wide. I took down the add until I can say for certain which was the manufacturer.

Here are some pics, on the back side only have few numbers ending in 72, no other markings.

Any comments and help is appreciated.

These look like Ansens, but if it don't say Ansen on backside maybe after market. And valve stem should be on lip of wheel.
