6:30 arrival at my house
after doing roll backs and donuts, its in the operating room
i had a donor nose that i pre-welded a new windshield channel into, that is what will be used on the top
i may have to ask for a few of these on top of the deal with the owner
the wolfgang part is a month away, and i wasn't willing to wait, so we decided to do the repair on the donor parts
out with the old
in with the new
well, not quite. i am waiting for POR 15 to dry, i did both sides, which is a bittersweet victory, as i will burn some when i start welding
well, stay tuned |
I am Mexican, but i would never do something nasty like that. The story sounds familiar, i just bought a 68 baywindow double cab that previously a bunch of gringos stuffed up with newspaper, magazines and about a ton of bondo all around. It is very sad that some people just don't do things in a right manner. By the way great job. |

well, that was the 100% truth. the bus started life in AZ. it got "fixed" by some body shop in mexico, by what i would assume was mexican's.
sad thing is, it looked like it needed 2 little patches. the rest of that bus is 100% straight and solid. _________________

It would be nice if they would have stuffed the whole bus with 100 dollar bills. best regards. |

Where on CT are you?
My bay needs a few spots, getting a shop to work on anything on LI is impossible and most the restoration guys around here have year long wait lists. _________________ Mike
