I thought I saw a few years ago in one of my VW books that there were two 411 Cabrio prototypes. It had a picture of one and said the other was in the museum. Around that same time, there was a pic of the very same 411 running around the Internet having been sold for an undislosed amount.

It is nice to see the museum model. I'm not typically a red car fan, but that one is very striking. Very cool. Nice to see a pic with the top up, too.

Oh, and check out that grey type 3 Karman Ghia cabrio. Also a prototype? I've only seen a very few T3 Karmans. Beautiful!! (both of them).

No, there is only one. You have also a picture of a white one?
A lot of people we're confused by it... was there an other one?
But no, it's the same car... it is repainted, don't know why.

The cabrio was on the "kever (=beetle) winter festival last year (the 411/412 club have connections with the museum) and the stand won the first price with it Very Happy

I don't know how the white 411 came there, but the cabrio was brought on a trailer... Embarassed
(the guys of the museum where scared to dead that something would happen to the car...)
