Kaiser was a premiere industrialist at the time he started making cars..he became mega sized during WW2 making liberty ships using mass production techniques never before used in shipbuilding and from that grew into aluminum, steel and cement production..as well as health care..making cars after the war was his finger in the eye of the Detroit boys, a west coast magnate taking on big auto..he ultimately lost and his empire dwindled,being cut up and sold off after his death...picture a Preston Tucker with money and success prior to getting into taking on Detroit, and ending up pretty much the same way Tucker did..

When I saw the photo of the car, before I looked at any responses, I thought that might be a Kaiser. Just something about that shape. I am usually not good with cars from the 50's outside of the bow tie versions.
