Yup. Fiat 500 engine. You can see the gen/fan belt below the rear valance in GeorgeL's pic.

My jaw dropped when I found out how much the car pictured sold for at auction recently.

The car was built in metric and the door in inches- Ask NASA how that worked out for them.

it looks exactly like one, so it's either a very good knockoff or a licensed version from some other manufacturer.
