Love polished aluminum, particularly other people's polished aluminum!
It's the 1942 L'Oeuf electrique by Paul Arzens.
How about this:

Why it's another freak show that if it had to swerve around something suddenly on the highway I'd have to say "you first" before I tried it, isn't it?
I wonder how it handles the roundabouts? _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

With those pipes you'd be cleaning soot off the rear deck at every stop!
It's a late 1930s Ford Cab-Over-Engine, or at least some sheet metal from one.
What the original looked like:

Correct on the Hudson, saw one of those driving down the street in Newhall last weekend!
The polished aluminum car is a 1942 L'Oeuf Electrique by industrial designer Paul Arzens. I'd want one of those to go in the garage of my polished Airstream. That is, provided that I am wealthy enough to have someone else keep them polished. |
