Yeah, I read about this outfit in Motor Trend back in the mid-'70s or so. Wacky stuff!
Bug cab even has a sunroof!
How do they register those things?

Pics are from a car show in Doylestown Penn. circa 1977. The Anycar1 was commissioned by Manufacturers Hanover Trust Bank for an add campaign in 1971 to provide loans for any car you have in mind. It was made using parts from 22 different cars. Another car was built in 1973 and George Barris built the last one dubbed the anycar3. The first one still exists in either Europe or South Africa with a different paint scheme.

Car in front is a Porsche, but what's the green vert behind it? Looks like a rollback style roof rather than a complete folding roof frame.

you did well. few are aware of moretti and most of them know the company only for their fiat-based coachbuilding activities and not as a car maker.

this is indeed a 750 coupe but not yet called "alger-le cap". that moniker was added to a later model, IIRC in 1955, to celebrate the 750's class victory in the 1953 edition of the raid (but it's often retroactively applied to all 750s and 720s).
