Hey guys , got my windshield for my super beetle today , does anyone know anyone that will install it, I broke my other windshield trying to put it in with a friend that told me its a piece of cake- now 170 later I would like someone else to do it , Im in Royal Palm but can tow the bug to a shop if not to far . If you we're trying to put in an aftermarket glass then it might not have been your fault. I've had one from EIS be an inch too tall!

I'd try to compare it to an OG one if possible.

But to answer your question Charlie's Auto glass is a chain that has done it
for me before for $100 bucks.

Thanks killerwatt , yep the first was after market , but trying to find a original is almost impossible and then no one wants to ship it cause its a pain in the butt , did charlies auto glass come to you or did you have to go to them ? Thanks for the quick response ...

Nofuss, a lot of glass shops come to you. Call around. If they break it then they buy it. Even aftermarket glass that seems to fit sometimes have sealing issues. I broke my 1st super windshield, I took more time on the second and got it right.

called charlies auto glass and they are going to come out next week , $100 to install / I'd rather take the $100 and get some vw god's together and buy $80 in beer and $20 in food and shoot the B.S. about vw's ...my super is going to be a fun -rip around the back dirt roads kinda fun vehicle , no way for a show bug . but I do have a 68 bay and would love to hook up with the crew up here in palm beach , got a house with some land and have lots of parking for vw's , let me know!!!!!!! I thought from other post that everyone met at sonics and other locations , Happy 4TH of July !!!!!!!

Great time at vw drag night.

Asa had a 17 car field and I qualified 4th in the field

Car was running strong and the boost was going up
Spinning on the launch but the et was still good

Then we got rained out for the night , and the next morning

Tonight is the after party and then the tour de BBQ

If any of you guys want to check out some road racing next saturday, the 28th We will be competing in the 14-hour s of Sebring ChumpCar race. It's only $10 bucks to get in, and you can camp for the event as well.
There are 93 cars entered in the race. Sure to be an Epic event.
