I need some idea's on what type of material to make the seat pan out of to put the covering on. Has anyone made seats for a trike? or any kind of seating with a curve in it? I believe I can mold some 1/4" plywood to fit, but my motorcycle seats are made on some kind of metal. Just need some idea's. Thanks...

I just used Walmart boat seats for my last 3 trikes. Mine are over 5 years old, and still in great shape, and they were $25.00 each. Very Happy
My friend Earl cut up a beer keg to make his seat pans. Worked out really nice...

i made my pan out of sheet stock - just welded it up - think i have some pix's on my site in the WidowMaker section -

My new project Trike came with molded fiberglass pans - i just had them re-upholstered - also pix's of them in Road Kill album

i had both seats done in a diamond pattern in leather -
