It was a pleasure to have known Jerry and I was honored for him to have called me his friends. He was as good a man as youll find anywhere. Im gonna miss him for sure, but like someone said earlier, Im glad the suffering is over as well. My thoughts are with Melissa. What a strong woman. Keep your chin up Melissa. _________________ the original

I know that you have found it. We are glad to have known you! You are free to be as you were, without pain and suffering.
Melissa, you are a special woman. David is right! We are here for you.
Jerry was an extraordinary VW nut! Like a walking historical log of all that was VW. He is what most aspire to. Thanks for the pleasure!
We love you always,
Marnie, Kris & Maggie

PS-Thanks for sharing your vow renewal with everyone in Jerome 2 years ago. The most intense ceremony I've performed in a long time. And then winning the raffle bus to top the weekend off! Great memories. Thanks again. ~ Rev. Love ~ |

So long Jerry and thanks for the memories! |
X2!
As sad as it surely is, IMHO we should rejoice in the fact that the suffering is over for Uncle Jerry now. Very few people get to be a legend in their own time! Celebrate his life by remembering his touch in our lives at every chance we get. I'm sure every time we are looking at a toy, we will think of him. God bless Jerry & Melissa! _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

My thoughts go out to Melissa.
I will never forget you guys showing up at the first Ghostwagens campout and all the stories.
I'm sure stories of Jerry will be told for years around VW gathering camp fires. He was an unforgettable character that will be missed and remembered.
Peace and love to both,

Never met him, but over the years reading everyone's posts about him and seeing the pics of him at events, I feel like I knew him for years.
Godspeed on your journey, Jerry.
Melissa, you have the love and support of thousands in this hobby, some of whom never met Jerry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Its sad to see him go.
But for a guy that was always smiling and was so focused on fun and happiness, being bummed just doesnt seem to fit.
Three cheers to Jerry for a life well lived and for being such a positive passionate force in the VW scene. We can all learn a lot from Jerry and Melissa...I know I have!
Heaven just got a lot more fun!
Thanks for the memories Jerry!!! _________________ Cheers!

Jerry will be missed by all who knew him.
A Volkswagen icon is now gone and it is up to us to carry on.
I will never forget him doing a beer bong at Jerome a few years ago. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.
