He was a big supporter of Acadia National Park here in Maine and gave the park a lot of the the horse drawn carriage roads around the park (as well as property and money). He spent a lot of time up here around the park throughout the year driving his own carriages until just a couple of years ago. He was a super very nice guy the locals say. |

Jerry Krause, the architect of the Chicago Bulls dynasty of the 1990s, has died at age 77.
The Bulls confirmed his death on Tuesday.
A Chicago native, Krause was both revered and reviled in his hometown.
After taking over as Bulls general manager in 1985, Krause was responsible for bringing together the pieces around Michael Jordan that led to six championships.

Tomas Milian, actor, died yesterday in Miami. Born in Cuba in 1933, in the '60s he moved from the US to Italy were he gained recognition with several roles in "poliziotteschi" movies during the '70s and '80s (with his voice often being dubbed by the late Ferruccio Amendola).

Oh damn! Boston is one of my favorite bands.
Seems only 3 remaining members from the original albums and non of them other than Tom is in the band anyway now.
But I am a fan of Barry Goudreau and enjoyed his solo, Orion The Hunter, & RTZ projects.

he was a rather versatile actor indeed. ended up being mostly remembered for just one character (Inspector Nico Giraldi) but that's what made the people of Rome pretty much fall in love with him, as he also stated in a recent interview during a trip to Italy.

I was watchen the news and they say it was boston former drummer,john thomas.......died on stage on a rock legends cruship, the defibrillator on the boat didnt work at all......so......was this sib? or...not?? |
