I LOVE that look....but unles your going to never drive it and keep it in a air tight garage those white rubbers will be white for about 3 days. I had a set on a 65 i had and LOVED them for the first week then nothing kept them white....I HATED them in the end...and they were West Coast Metric so they werent garbage!

I really wish I could say "oh yes why haven't I posted those yet!" But unfortunately it's still outside under a tarp Crying or Very sad I was going to put it in the paint booth and sand some bondo today, but my american cars required attention, namely the PAIN IN THE ASS valve cover on my AMC Eagle, of course they had to route all the emissions hoses over the valve cover on one end and the fuel line over the other end, so you have to take it all apart to get the valve cover off, then I have to scrape the stupid gasket goo that someone gooed on there Evil or Very Mad . This of course with wires and hoses hanging and getting in your way all the time Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad . I HATE THE 80's well, their emmissions systems at least Laughing . But yeah, work should be starting again soon!

On another note, I've been playing with bugselecta and I think my favorite so far is this:

Can't decide though, bumpers or no bumpers. If bumpers, definately over rider bumpers for me.

X2

Where can you get overriders? Does anyplace still sell them? Only three came with my car, and they're trashed.

Some came with my car, and some I got at a VW shop that had a lot of old parts...

Yeah, I probably could use some bumpers too, the ones I have are OG but they're kinda wavy across the top.

Well, you've seen how mine look, right?

That one was smashed up against the body (apparently the PO had gotten hit), so I refurbished the bumper...not OG but it still looks pretty good!! Cool

I'm spray paint happy...It's spray-on chrome look-alike...

On mine or yours? Mine's possible, the fenders are just kinda set there, the blots aren't tightened down. Also, IMO the spray paint chrome doesn't look like chrome, more like aluminum Laughing

Laughing I was talking about mine...all the fenders are bolted on but the driver's front seems like its not quite right. Yeah, I just mainly got the spray paint chrome so the rust stopped spreading on the bumper.

The old turquoise? or the Black and whites up above? I think I'm gonna do the black and white, we actually happen to already have some black left over from another project (I think like a gallon) it's a chevy black, the same as what's on my '99 S10. Then the sexy white side panels. Laughing

On a more exciting note....

I GOT IT IN THE PAINT BOOTH TODAY!!

Yeeeesss, work will commence soon! Today I have things to do though. But yes!! I'm excited.
