Lets talk again after the car is painted and you will find out that stainless steal is not the best material to modify...Wink

when I dont like the shining and if I had to modify I have the option to rechrome the bumper (if I dont know what to do with my euros). Wink

Hi Rich,

Yes, That car is know to the registry. It was sold and is going to the UK.

Recently, an other Lawrence come out of hiding and is currently being restored in the US. It is car nr 532 and it is a convertible. This is thh rometsch from New jersey that was being discussed on the pelican forum. Unfortunately, I still don't have any pictures of that car.

That make the total of know Lawrences at 31 now

I had the chance to see it up and close as it was in my garage before it left to the UK and with your help my friend was able to get his dream car so thanks for that Cool

Another Lawrence went to the restoration shop.
This time nr 526 that is located in the UK.

At the end of this year we will have more restored Lawrence than unrestored!!

Yes, it was the green coupe with the roof cut-off. (nr 517)

This is the only remaining photo I have of my '59 Rometsch
I lost all my photos in a fire years ago.. My mother found this and sent it my way.
I believe this is in Santa Barbara at least it was in the early 90's

I sold the car with a new 1800 in it..
I still have the original 59 Okrasa 1300 motor with the glass fuel filter, Abarth exhaust and nameplate in storage in CA

Anybody know the value/demand of/for this?

It is time to do some updates here on thesamba. I am a lot more active on facebook (check the facebook fanpage) and there I will always post new pictures first.

Time to do an update of the last couple of months

A lot of people are working on there Lawrences and this year some restorations will get finisched

the 517 is nearly finished. the car is painted and is now being assembled. the car will be on show in HO

The work on the frame of car 526 is finished. This is a high quality restoration were all the aluminium panels were removed to to able to fix all rusted parts in the frame.

The 544 is repainted in red-black. On the pictures together with the 515
