I'm looking for an original 3-fold ragtop clip and I was wondering what is a realistic price to pay - if I am ever to find one? US $2k, 3k?
Thanks in advance! |

I have no idea what a relistic price is in the USA.
But this babe lays a 15 minutes drive away from my house in the woods.
Invest in a flight and pick it up for free.
Well, to be honest. That pic is 10 years old.
It might be even more gone until today.
Back then I saved the mechanics and the aluminium rails. _________________ Master of my domain! |

I checked some old ads from the past 2 years in the classifieds and I would say the average is $2500 but there are a bunch of ads between $2000 - $3000.
I'm assuming you mean for a complete assembly and maybe including sheet metal too. Some had metal, some did not. _________________ How to: Post Photos | Search

Thanks so much Everett.
Yup I am looking for a complete one preferably with sheet metal.
Prices appear to vary quite a bit and these things don't come for sale too often. I guess it is a seller's market...

Looks like the price for that is US $ 3,5k.
I was looking for a price range for an original 3-fold and not a repro though - which Everett gave a good answer already.

another option, would be to buy a car with an original 3 fold sunroof, that way it would actually be "original". _________________ regards

That is always an option. Depends on the $$ one has available though.
