Today, we had some beautiful weather here in Central PA, so I drove my '70 Beetle to the local Army Heritage Education Center, where Volksy met a vehicle that may be slightly heavier than a Beetle.
After that, I took the car to the Carlisle Airport and took a nice two hour flight in my Piper Cherokee. The weather was fantastic, and after I landed, I did a photo op with the resident Grumman Albatross, a 1950s-vintage Navy patrol plane that was brought here from Columbia.
All in all, it was a great day with some great vehicles, although one of them was just a little bit less powerful than the others… _________________ 1970 Savannah Beige Beetle - Volksy

It may be less powerful, but at least it's still running and moving under its own power. _________________ 1960 Ragtop w/Semaphores "Inga" |

True! The guys who brought the Albatross up from Columbia were aiming to do a full resto on it, but they ran into issues with the FAA and had problems finding parts. Ergo, the thing has sat for ~8 years and has become a fixture at the airport. _________________ 1970 Savannah Beige Beetle - Volksy
