Hey guys and gals-
Im thinkin' i want to buy this bus, a 71 westy. she's got a really, really nice interior, but the compression was toast when i did it (30/70/80..etc). Im planning to go to camp for a couple weeks and im looking for an engine.
Doesn't need to be fancy, nor anything near new. just running and will keep running for long enough to justify the engine swap.
If there's anyone in the bay area (or nearby) that could sell me one, let me know. If you'd take the old one in partial trade, that'd be swank.

Be careful replacing your engine. If you don't get the right intake manifold you may have trouble with your disc brakes. They rely on vacuum. |
