Now the REAL fun begins! Congrats, Greg! I'd say the first drive is the best, but it just keeps getting better!

Thanks for the kind words guys and gals! I didn't give a nod to the Samba in this video (I'm a knucklehead), but this group has been a HUGE inspiration and has been a massive help in bringing this car back to life. _________________ You Tube Channel w/vids of the car's progress

I've been watching some of your videos online and just realized this was your thread.
Awesome work, by they way. It's an inspiration. Great job.
I'm about 75-90 miles south of you, but in Kansas. I just bought my first KG- a 1973 convert. for my wife.
Maybe we can meet up sometime and I can check out your ride in person!
Sorry for the thread necromancy! _________________ 1973 Karmann Ghia Convertible |

It's been awhile since I posted on this project... As with any project cars, this one has been a work in progress and still has a few touch up items left. One of the items on my list was to do a full leather wrap on the wheel. I finally got this done a week ago. From a driving/comfort stand point, this tops the list of things I'm glad I did. I'm working on getting the last video of the convertible top put together. I should have it done in the next 3-4 weeks.
