Great place happy to be here,been 8 years since my last vw57oval.
I'm looking for and engine.
I have to get a brake and lamp inspection on her, I'm just not sure if I can get it done with out a engine in the car?

Why not cut up 50-60-70's era cars? (in the 1970's) It's sad 4 us,They must have thought those cars are just the start of greatness to bad it was the end....Gonzobus

I've never had DMV, CHP or anyone require a brake or lamp inspection, and I'm one county away.

You don't need an engine for the brake lights to work, but driving it to wherever it gets inspected may be a challenge

salvage title, 57 oval,I put down the wrong year, I think im going to get a engine from roscoes here in town. Dmv wants the brake and lamp inspetion.
