I am wanting to put a Berg 5 IRS or swing axle into my 1961 356B. Does anyone have any experience with this? Can it be done? I am a skilled VW technician with plenty of tools.

Had a great conversation with Scott @ Metalcraft. He helped me believe that this is a feasible idea. I plan on going ahead with the conversion. Thank you for his phone number, you were a great help. Scott said your car was amazing. By any chance do you own the silver and green 356 that I've seen in Hot VW's?
