Anyone in the San Diego area want to get together to talk Vanagon? Maybe already a club I don't know about? I looked through the community club page here on the Samba, but it looks like most stuff is for the air-cooled-bug-bus crowd.
Anybody?
Maybe meet in Mission Bay on Fiesta Island or something? Beer and food? _________________ '84 Westfalia |

I'd be interested, but I still gotta get my interior put back in. Somebody should get a list of people in the area that are westy enthusiats and samba members so we can get some things planned. _________________ 1984 Westy Camper

I'd be interested in making the drive if it was worth while. Like a BBQ or something at a beach or park |

I would be interested. A couple of years ago someone organized a meeting that was at Dana Beach and was pretty successful. _________________ Alan

I'd love to see what kind of fun projects local folks have done. _________________ 1986 Weekender, automatic, 2nd owner

Sounds good! I agree, Mission Bay has the best parking. Somewhere near the Hilton might work? Saturday 11/21/2009 around 1:00pm? |

21st of November sounds good. Fiesta Island or by the Hilton are good. How about a little earlier than 1 PM, so we can have lunch there? _________________ Alan

Hey Belladonna30c,
Are you suggesting a pot-luck lunch? I could bring some home-made bread, or maybe something else. _________________ Alan

AlanD: Homemade bread sounds delicious.
Potluck is a great idea. It's always fun to see what shows up...
...a great time to share your "signature" dish... that favorite thing you are famous for bringing (whether you cooked it or not)!
Maybe someone will want to share a favorite "camping cooking" dish. _________________ 1986 Weekender, automatic, 2nd owner

I'll try to make it. My daughter's last soccer game of the season, and my niece's birthday are that morning.
Come on out Ben. The weather's great. _________________ '87 Syncro passenger w/ 2.2L Subaru
