I'm trying to find information on the Speedwell Sprint. Any pictures or information would be super. I would like to install a vintage Speedwell Sprint set up one day on my 1500 single port.

Reading up on the speedwell sprint set-up they talk about a special oil cooler that came with the kit. Does anyone have a picture of this sprint set-ups with the special oil cooled installed which came with the kit?

Mine was complete minus the cooler. Had the cooler bracket that bolted to the air cleaners, but no cooler.

Some pics of the kit, on the stroker 40 hp that I'd built, and in the car.

What a great looking set-up. By chance do you have any pictures of the dash controls / knobs for the chokes?

So, these Strombergs are drawing their air supply from the cabin? Pretty slick setup!

Carbs draw supply air from engine compartment just like any other T1 carb arrangment, whether single or dual. Since these are side-draft carburetors, the air cleaners are fitted (face) towards (but do not protrude through) the firewall.

Sorry Aircooled, no photo's of the choke cables. Just remember them being like a mile long!! Wish I took more photos of my car before i sold it. I've tried finding the car (last heard it was in the Maryland area) to no avail. Had I known how rare these were at the time, I would have put a stock 40 in the car when i sold it. I've never ran into another person who had them running on a car. Mostly parts collectors.
