I attempted to get this, but the company would not make me one. It was another customer's custom artwork and they (the customer) did not want it duplicated.

Here's one for your Corvair powered buggies.
62-64 "Chevy 6" emblem. Not a Covair part but fits the bill.
It's about 1.5 inches tall, and 1 inch wide.
I just aquired 2 for my Volksrod project.

Search "VOLKSWAGNUT" on YouTube since you cant watch "IT" here.
Better to roll em' how you want and wear em' out.... then let em' rot out.
It's more about the going --- not the showing.
Rebuilt to drive not decorate. |

I love that buggy. What is it. Do you have a thread on it? |

| Sorry I can't come up with any history on this. It has a 63 chassis and originated in Minnesota according to an old license plate. Somehow it ended up in Wisconsin and was partially rejuvenated. Use to have a pipe frame for a windshield with a piece of plexi screwed to it. It ended up in River Falls Wisconsin; and that is where I got lucky to take posession of it. Somewhere somehow someone made a beautiful mold for this. Just can't make any connection on original owner. I have the old Minnesota license plate, but never could trace the last owner. My understanding was that this little beast looked 30 years old and well used when it was found. I am still looking for some lost info. There are no tags or any identification anywhere on the body. Always hoped somebody on Samba had seen this model before. |

I had bid on it for grins, and about a hour later received an email from ebay saying this:
