next winter when i take the car back off the road im going to do a rebuild on my engine. It runs fine (acctually perfect Razz) but i want something with abit more power and speed. Are you looking to rebuild it as a stock 1600 or something abit bigger? I want a 1776 at MINUMUM but really want a 2110, but thats expencive Razz

It's going stock. I don't have the time, money, or desire to work for a bigger engine. My parents said they'd pay for a stock rebuild, so I will go with that. Plus, I have until mid-August to complete this.

yeah, you gotta get the jugs hoes bored out bigger so the new oens can fit in. If you have any machine shops around you go check them otu and see hwo much theyd charge. I got mine done for only $80....and another $90 for the align bore.

as for he 1800 without machine work, you gotta buy a new crank and rod, which will probably be more pricey than getting the case bored out.

Ya I saw on their site they had a whole article on building a 40mpg engine. Whatever extra for crank, rod, cam and whatever else would probly pay for itself pretty quick if you actually got 40mpg like they say. They also claim something like 75% more power too. When my engine finally goes I think Im definitely gonna go the "mileage master" route.
