|
I wanted to share with you all that I have found another panel squareback here in Israel, the year is uncertain but i know its 70+
The car is in restore able shape but its a piece of junk at the moment.
It doesn't have an engine.
The owner wants to sell the car but there are 2 downfalls:
1) He does not wish to assist with the transferring of the car because he will lose "work time" so you need to have some help with the toeing of the car from his place to the shipyard.
2) I still don't know how much work is needed to get permits to export the car and I don't know if he will assist in that matter also (maybe charge more for the help u don't know).
The sellers wants 2000 Israeli Shekels which are 525$ or 367 euro.
If any one wishes I can connect between you and the seller,
I am sorry but I don't have any pictures of the car.
Regards,

Hey,
I have decided to hear some offers for my car,
The thing is that I have another project on my mind and on a very low budget..
If you see the ad, the decision is to sell the car for restoration only and not for parts because i do believe its a waste to part the car.
If the right buyer will come then i will sell the car, i will give you a notice if that happens
Regards,

It would be good to hear from the owner of the red one part way through restoration by the looks of it. |

the red one lives 50miles from where i live, and i think the foto is 2 years old. i think that is way it looks today to.
The sekond pic is a panel with rear seat,i can see that on the nummeplates. they wher yellow and black some thing we call (pappegøjeplader) in denmark. they where sold to the danish power company.

Holy cow... in the 40-some years I've been into VWs, I didn't know there was a factory-made Type 3 panel. I knew, of course, that there was the Fridolin and panel busses, occasional coachbuilt bug-based vans and the BGW/Vandetta hackjob VW panel vans, but never these. Very cool. |

Another Type 3 panel van has just been located in Australia.
A few incorrect things such as rear fenders, interior, switches, etc etc but it is an original panel van.
It is body # 423 as you can see. Oddly enough, I dismantled car # 433 many years ago and I have that body tag sitting on my desk here right now - only 10 cars away. That car was also white and was similarly hacked with.
I hope the car finds a new owner shortly (I suspect it will).
I will keep you posted. _________________ Aaron
