Pedro- you are the man!

I would struggle to spot any differences between these and originals.

I don't know how a "real-life" value of original panels is being derived, but to me something between US $ 1.5k-2k from these panels sounds ridiculously high.

I guess it's the (relative) rarity of the panels which makes them being priced as unobtanium? Then again if one asks 1.5-2k does anyone buy them?

That would be about 4x what I paid from my complete panel van (sans panels of course) to begin with. Yes, of course the car is a project...

By the way - from which year to which year the panels would fit across year models? For example would a set of '70 panels fit into a '67 car and vice versa?

(and I do appreciate the fact that repros are being made as I need a set myself at some point)

panels should fit all years. I do not think the side window hole size changed. They are a bit of a rarity yes, rare spare panels are extra rare & very very rare are the NOS set that is out there. Someone had listed a set here a while ago. Pedro & I think one other is making some really nice panels for your dining & dancing pleasure.

Looks great Mario.

Is this panel van a M264 or M265 (back seat or not?).

Glue/sealer does sound better than welding.

Mario I was just studying your pics more closely and have a few questions ??

It looks to be later model panelvan ie squarer front large tail lights wrap around front indicators bigger bumper bars etc.. same as the picture in the info sheet a couple of posts ago. from your profile you said 69 panelvan si that correct.

Here in Australia we only got 65 and 66 panelvans so cant wait to see pics of a "late model" finished..

Cheers
