Tomorrow I will be travelling South from Vancouver to Oak Harbor along the WA20 and wondered if there are any diesel stops along there that I can use (before exit 230).

I am assuming there will be but don;t want to be stranded in case. Also, what's the average price? It's $1.06 per litre in town today. I am assuming about 4 litres to the US gallon is about right?

Cheers.

you are travelling on Interstate 5 from bc to exit 230. rt 20 will take you to oak harbor after you exit at 230.

You should not have a problem finding diesel on your route. I got lucky and just filled my TDI for $2.79 per Gallon today with a .10 discount. But the Bellingham area is higher in price. I would expect you will pay about $3.09 per Gallon.

Diesel is never hard to find. I'd guess 1/3 of neighborhood stations have it and every freeway exit.

Diesel is everywhere in the Bellingham & Skagit county area. For some odd reason fuel prices are much higher vin B'ham than the surrounding area, maybe because we have the refineries here???

Anyway the Skagit Casino on top of Bow Hill (I-5), about 5 miles S of Bellingham, is one of the cheaper places to get fuel.
