Engine hard to restart!

So, seems like new weekend new problem! My 79 is all tuned up and running well until I shutoff the engine and wait about 15/20 min and then it won't start. Feels like its flooded (fuel inj) if I feather the gas pedal I can get it to come up to idle and from then it will run find? I'm lost, any ideas?
