Hey I just "wrapped" my roof with black vinyl. I wanted to see how the car would look 2tone before I paint it. What do you guys think?

I think it looks awesome both ways, however, I like the 1 tone just a TAD more, but, it's your car, make it how you like.

Both look nice, but you also know the saying about opinions. Personally I like solid color better on your car. I see the two-tone as more a classic 'stock' look, I would switch to a stock mirror if you go for it. Again, just an opinion.

I think it looks "friendlier" with the one color. A little less approachable with the black top and go with the chrome mirror either way.. .02 cents Very Happy

it is 1 peice, you can remove it but not put back, thanks for the comments, the mirror is definitly changing but the repro's are all on back order from every freaking vendor out there. I thought about going with talbot style mirrors.

FYI- I do signs for a living so I can do provide the correctly sized vinyl for anyone that woould be interested in doing this, the vinyl would be roughly $90.

I like it all red. Looks good both ways though. Black roofs do look good with black accented wheels. But in your case, i like the all red.

Roll it with the vinyl for a while, think it over...

The hardest thing to do sometimes is to leave em alone... Very Happy

Interesting... with the car all red, the silver on your rims is a bit more prominant, but the black roof really makes the black part of the rims pop. I like both and I don't envy you in your decision. I agree with the earlier post... run the black for a while and then decide... or... run black for a while, then run all red, then black, the red, etc... At $90.00 a shot, it's really a pretty inexpensive way to change up the look of the car for a while and, I assume, not damage anything.

It would be interesting to see what other type of temporary graphics could be applied. Very interesting! Thanks for the demo!

The black top seems to interrupt the visual flow of the car's beautiful lines.
