I can not find any sunvisor mounting brackets for my 78 vert. Clips yes I can find, but you only get the brackets when buying new sunvisors and mine are good & original. Anyone know where I could find them??

Found this on the samba classifieds, says "super". Not the best of shape and kind of pricey:

You might want to look at all the Samba ads selling visors for less than that to see if you can salvage the brackets off one of them.
You can also try Chuck's Convertible Parts:

You didn't say if you had looked in the Samba Classifieds so IMO no one was calling you stupid.

The ones in this Samba add are the wrong ones & Chucks does not sell them.
