im 47 and the bugs are 60-61-62-64(2)-65-66-67-69-72-78 funny thing, and I have owned multiples of those yrs, funny thing though,I was born in 1963, but have yet to own a 63' VW bug yet?, go figure _________________ (0\!/0)

Only cars that I associate 1999 with are ricers, not many cool cars like bugs and buses

The '59 ragtop is older and the '79 bus is not. _________________ my59: Well son, my grandfather died before I got to drive it, so does that answer your question?

Numbers Matching VW's are getting harder to find. Source out the most Stock vehicle and keep that way. You will be glad you did.
