6 days on the west coast!

The annual AHP/KG Treffen Cruise leaves Portland, Oregon immediately following the Always V-Dub Rose City Bug In, and heads south on Highway 1 to Ventura!

Route, hotel, campground and daily event info will be finalized soon.

For now, block out the first week in August for the ultimate VW summer vacation!

Anymore on the Treffen of the Rose City Bug In?
I did not see a thread on the Bug in itself.

We plan to leave from the SF Bay Area (Half Moon Bay) early Saturday morning (July 31). Anyone else have plans to travel from California?

Yes...check out the Google map route on where we stop for overnight stays, depart, lunch stops, etc as we pass on down the coast.

We'll be in the SF Bay Area on Wednesday as we will be departing from Fort Bragg.

Talked with Treffen head honcho Scott about an hour ago- they are stopping for lunch in Winchester Bay, OR, and then heading down to the CA/OR border. where I will meet them, get them to the Curly Redwood Lodge (the whole 26 room motel was built from ONE TREE !!!!) and tomorrow we head our to Humbugs territory (HUMboldt BUGS) for lunch in old growth redwoods.
I gotta go get gas in the Oval, and head up there.
Looking forward to seeing you again, Jim/Banzai KG... got any surf tunes? lol

We're here in the Avenue of the Giants Redwoods here in Humboldt for lunch hosted by Humbugs VW Club.
After lunch 3:00/3:30pm, we'll be rolling towards our tonight's destination in Ft. Bragg.

I will post pics when I get a chance.
