While the advertiser seems like a good guy/gal (being that he built the Westy as a tribute to his dad), it's odd he/she spends the entire ad justifying their investment and then never states a price they are selling it for. And where is the rest of the interior?

I've had my Westy for eight years and the RF cap is still broken. I even have the replacement, but I sorta figure leaving the bad one on the van will keep accident voodoo away from it. New end cap conveys with the van when/if I sell.

Yeah, I'd sell that POS too if I thought I'd actually get 10 grand for it. Rolling Eyes

$10K for a beat up Westy that's needs a whole new interior and is sitting on the stock motor and tranny with over 200K miles...Really?! Confused

I guess this one proves that exterior looks are everything. Here's a 1990 Westy (or is it???) that has a salvage title, no mention of any engine or transmission work ever being done on it, and the entire interior seems to have been swapped out from a 1986 model. It has a nice paint job though, so it's listed for $20K Shocked

Maybe it's the custom antenna that points straight ahead???

Or that custom 1986 interior in a 1990 vehicle???

Naw, it's got to be that custom pop-top headliner that covers the skylight

Man, if I'm just a bit more patient and save up another 10 grand then maybe I too can have a hacked together Westy with a salvage title and a nice paint job. Rolling Eyes

Who's passing out the free crack this week? Laughing

Don't say that too loud or they're bound to raise the price to 25K for such an innovative feature! Laughing

You know, if you had two Vanagons with these custom antennas, you could have a jousting match! It could be a whole new sport! Very Happy
