Finally, a show in Tulsa within walking distance of several bars and restaraunts. Downtown has really improved and the Brady District is definitely the place to be. _________________ Route 66 VW parts |

This is happening for real. It is truly exciting. Not only a cool venue for the show and, like mentioned, close restaurants and bars but all this in Historic Down Town Tulsa. Walking distance to some really great historic sites. Cains Ballroom, The Brady Theater, Blue Dome Gas Station, "Black Wall Street" in the Greenwood District home to the largest race riot in the US till L.A. (I said historic not necessarily good). Visit Greenwood, Archer, and Pine streets noted for naming The GAP band. Not to mention cool spots like The Center of The Universe near another cool building, the old deco train depot now housing The Oklahoma Jazz Museum. Most important of all NO WATER COOLED!!!
I hope a lot of people will take the chance to come out and see what we are offering. Spread the word!
Looking forward to seeing you again Scotty. You road trip that DC all the way here and there will be cold beer waiting. _________________ Hippies never die, they just smell that way

Congratulations, looks like you are off to a good start for those unaware these people did a VW show last year in another venue and did a great job, so they have some experience but looks like they have refined it down to air cooled only Imagine that....
I am a fan of downtown area and recommend Mc Nellies if anyone gets thirsty and despite the naysayers that whole area including the Brady district continues to build and improve sort of like West end in Dallas.... How many cars can you accomodate? any danger of running out of room?

Incredible! I cannot wait for this show. I think this will be the next big show in the midwest. Great location, historic sites, great food, especially italian, tons of stuff to do, and most importantly great quality aircooled vehicles. Check out Cains and Brady theater for Friday night and come down early to see concert. A brand new baseball field. And, most importantly a complete AIR-COOLED ONLY show. Run by true AIR-COOLED enthusiast.

This is a welcomed problem in my opinion. In fact, I dare everyone. Make us run out of room. _________________ Hippies never die, they just smell that way

OK -- I just had a trouble-free 700-mile roadtrip to the Texas Classic. The only thing the bus needed was 1/2 quart of oil! Who says you can't roll a big motor on long trips!
I'm definitely rolling this thing from the Texas Gulf Coast to Tulsa!
1000-mile round trip, baby! _________________ 59 DC

I just looked on Google Maps --- it's more like a 1300-mile trip , depending on the route.
Too late now --- I done said I was gonna do it! _________________ 59 DC

| Yes, this show will be nice! Great historic location, easy to get to from all surrounding locations. Plan to also see if their are concerts or shows at the Legendary Cains Ballroom, Brady Theatre, or the new BOK Center. Plenty of great restaurants around and best of all, only Air Cooled VW's!!! |
