Well still cant post pics to this site. So see if you guys can do it blind. I have these two flat things that look to be some kind of window air deflectors? They could also be old rain guards?? I can send pics by email but I cant put them on here. _________________ In a sea of american muscle there is alittle bug hiding in the corner...

That looks like part of the seat bottom, between the rails and the seat frame. Just a guess, but I think thats where I saw them.

I picked up a pair of doors today with these air deflectors. Do you have any info in them? _________________ Save a tree eat a beaver |

they deflect air
It's an old-school accesory that you could screw to the door with metal screws. You could also buy rain deflectors, and they were screwed to the door frame in a similar way (above the window opening).
Not sure whether these air deflectors are being reproduced. I know that the rainguards are reporduced, and also you can buy air defelctors which mount lower (as a clip on to the vent window). _________________ drive it like you just robbed the bank

The picture is my car, the rain guards came on my 57 barn find car back in the late 80's. They are stamped for the vent window cut out. Have GHE no47187 on the part that goes under the rubber. I have another pair I found at a vw swap meet and had them all redone going on my next project.
Here is a close up..of the ones not mounted on the car.
