Congratulations to the Cubs. You beat our Dodgers so I hope you win it all. After all, anyone can have a down century now and then.

Cubs had their chances, that's for sure. 3rd pitch of the game was not a strike called one, batter then struck out; similar for 3rd out. A poor ball/strike call can affect the whole at bat and the whole game.

Bill Murray is considerably less funny and less talented than he thinks he is. I hope he had a driver to get him home.

He was good, just the Daffy Duck wasn't really the best. I prefer a good honest singing of it.

My team, Pittsburgh Pirates came back to win in 1979 after being down 1-3 in the Series.

Pirates also won in 1971 after losing first 2 games.

Of course in 1960 Pirates beat the Yankees; Pirates scored 27 runs, Yankees scored 55 and set almost all WS batting records for the time.

Congratulations to the Cubs, the most patient team in sports. Unbelievable game! But then, how could it be anything else?

Both teams gave it all, and will be back next year.

Too bad for them my Dodgers will beat them both! Wink

You'd say it beats when the Red Sox won the world series to end Babino curse?

What was the Cubs curse again? someone not allowed to bring his cow in the stadium?

Go Cubs!

But for the life of me, I don't know how Lester is still pitching in the majors. Refuses to throw to a bag? Refuses to field a bunt? I don't get it. He's not that good.

Anyway, they won despite him.

That was a pretty good baseball game. Tensions kept ratcheting up especially the later innings. The rain coming down for added effect. The go ahead by the Cubs in the 10th right after Cleveland's game tying HR. Both teams never backed off. Hard to make up a better script. Congrats Chicago.

Dodgers are under the TW curse til they put their games back on tv. Cool

The curse was that a guy brought a goat to the game in '45. He bought it a ticket so he could go. They refused, but eventually let them in. Someone said it smelled so they kicked him out. That's when he said they'd never win again.

Yeah, I think we can put to rest the myth of baseball being boring! Better announcers than Joe Buck would have helped, though. I miss Vinny already!

Yes, and the Feds are going after the wrong parties now... DirecTV. The real villains are the Dodgers Sportsnet and TW (now Rectum, I mean Spectrum). Both should tear up their deals and start over. WAY too much $$$, and no wonder the other carriers balked. Looks like TW hired more/better lawyers and lobbyists than DirecTV did.
