I have a transmission mount strap that's supposed to fit my rear mount cradle that's already bolted in. Although I doubt a strap at this location would do much good, I'm thinking about installing it. The starter bulge on the bell housing prevents the strap from mounting forward enough. If the strap is flush with the bell housing surface, and lined up with the cradle bolt holes, the starter bulge is in the way. If the strap is moved back enough to clear the bulge, only half or less of it engages the housing, and it sorta' sticks out behind the housing. Do all years have the same bell housing bulge where the starter goes?
